Dra. Mariella Franz

Doctor iuris (PhD) from the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, Austria; specialized in European Community Law (EU) and Public International Law; She has a Master’s degree in Advanced Interdisciplinary European Studies from the College of Europe, Natolin (Warsaw, Poland). She is an expert in international cooperation: she was Director of the Program “Dialogue on Development Policies with the EU” of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Brussels (2006-2010), then she was a Representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in the Argentine Republic (2010-2019), developing and directing various international cooperation projects. She is a partner at Elzen Abogados and is in charge of the European Desk. She is a member of the Legal Affairs Committee of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce of the Argentine Republic (CECRA), in which she is in charge of the Subcommittee of European Law. She is a member of the Advisory Council of the IEB, the Mercosur-European Union Institute for Bi-regional Studies with offices in Buenos Aires and Madrid.
